A verse on fate

Kaatib-e-taqdeer ki inaayat-o-fayyazi ho mulahiza,
Keh loh-o-qalam dast-e-ibn-e-Adam mein thama diya.
Translation:
The benevolence and generousity of the author of destiny be seen,
that He handed the tablet and the pen into the hand of son of Adam.

Dictatorship and Democracy

What is the difference between a dictatorship and a democracy?

In a dictatorship, one pig runs a whole nation of baboons while in a democracy, a whole parliament of pigs elected by a whole nation of baboons, runs the nation of - yes, you guessed it right - baboons!

Why a nation of baboons though, in both cases? For letting one pig or a parliament of pigs run things ofcourse, what else?

On a personal note though, I would rather have a pig - and I mean an actual pig - run my nation, as long as it isn't our present president, Zardari.
